Technology partnership for the global nuclear market
In order to combine their expertise in the field of canned motor pumps for the civil nuclear market, KSB SE & Co. KGaA and HERMETIC-Pumpen GmbH signed a cooperation agreement on October 28, 2025. The aim of the partnership is to provide innovative pump solutions to nuclear power plant operators.
Through this cooperation, both German companies are combining their many years of technological experience in the field of hermetically sealed pumps. As part of the collaboration, KSB will assume exclusive responsibility for the sales of jointly defined product lines in selected markets. HERMETIC brings to this partnership its many years of expertise in the development and construction of canned motor pumps.
The cooperation between the two companies strengthens international competitiveness and creates new opportunities in a challenging market environment. The contracting parties see the cooperation as an important contribution to the safe and sustainable use of civil nuclear energy.
KSB SE & Co. KGaA, based in Frankenthal, Germany, is a leading global supplier of pumps, valves, and related systems for numerous industries.
HERMETIC-Pumpen GmbH, based in Gundelfingen, Germany, specializes in the development and manufacture of hermetically sealed pump solutions for challenging industrial applications.
